Jumping
The act of seizing ore from outside a miner's licensed quadrant - a most illegal act that can get a ship shot out of the sky by patrolling Multicorp Security forces.
Licensed miners can only strip ore from asteroids that pass within the space time that they've licensed from TCID. Any stripping, hooking and/or renavigating of ore outside the license parameters is jumping.
